The book is meant to give a representation of the folk art of Albania. It shows textiles, woodcarving, pottery, metalworks, architecture, folk dresses etcetera in a total of 156 pages with color photographs. Most of the photographs are as large as the pages and of good quality, making it an excellent overview of the folk art and dresses of all regions of Albania.
The introductory text and the explanation table are in Shqip, English and French.

The book is no longer available, but occasionally a second hand copy may be obtained from antiquarians, mostly outside Albania.
The book was a popular gift item to foreign governmental visitors and in exchange programs. Probably most copies exist outside Albania instead of in Albania itself.
