Folklori koreografik i Hasit

The book is an account of the survey in the Has region in 1970 and 1972, the last year together with the Albanological Institute of Prishtina. The Has region in the north of Albania has also a part in southern Kosovo and should be seen as one ethnological region.
The dances described in this book are concentrated on the Albanian Has region, but also dances from the Kosovo Has region are described.
Some dances are described in just text, others are described with steps to the measures in detail along with musical scores, lyrics and background information.
The interesting part of this book is the description of the solo dances, especially the first part of women's dances, followed by women's dances for two or three women.
The male dances are described in a separate chapter, but also with a lot of concentration on the solo dances.
There is a summary in French of 24 pages, mainly on the characteristics of the Hasit dances.

A second book on the Has region has been published by Bogdani in 2005, after more research in 2001, especially in the Kosovo part of Has, titled: Etnokoreografi Kosovare Hasjane.

The two publications together give an excellent overview of the dances of the complete Has region, either in Albania or in Kosovo.
